Have you ever wanted to write a letter to someone because you felt unsatisfied about a service received or a product you bought? The solution to this problem is learning how to write a complaint letter. In order to get your point across, you must know how to write one successfully. I am here today to give you tips for writing effective complaint letters.
1.When addressing your letter, make sure to write to the main boss. They will have the power needed to fix whatever your complaint is.
2.Do not let your emotions get the best of you. No matter how angry you are, do not let the anger out in the letter.
3.Make your letter as short as possible, meaning get straight to the point. The reader does not have time to read lengthy letters.
4.If you need to send proof of purchasing something, only send a copy of the receipt.
5.When writing your letter be very specific, generalizing will not be effective.
6.Always maintain a professional tone.
7.Include your contact information so when and if a solution is resolved they can get in touch with you.
8.Do not give up; if they do not respond to your first letter follow up with a phone call. If that does not work write another letter. Unfortunately not all situations will be resolved, you can put your best effort in to get the situation resolved.
I hope this tips will help you now or in the future!

ReplyDeleteGreat advice. I really liked your post. The cartoon was great and went along just fine with your post. Complaint letters can be really difficult to write especially when someone is really ticked off! One little suggestion is add a little more voice to your post. Make it sound like you! Other than that, great job! I enjoyed it.
